2mm Coloured Acrylic Sheet
Large blue Coloured Acrylic Sheet 2mm thin extruded polymethyl methacrylate panels
1. Acrylic material advantages
Acrylic sheet is widely used due to its excellent properties. First and foremost, it is 5 times stronger than glass. More powerful is shock and drop resistance. Acrylic is 92% transparent, which means that only 8% of incoming light is lost when passing through. By comparison, window glass is 83-90% transparent and PC is 90% transparent. Of course, the difference is small, but it does exist. In addition to transparency, unlike other plastics, acrylic does not deteriorate under prolonged exposure to UV light. For example, PC turns yellow and other plastics become brittle. Acrylic parts are very durable, which makes them suitable for a wide range of applications such as car lights, shop advertising banners, and more. These applications require high precision and excellent surface finish. Acrylic CNC machining is a perfect solution.
